Welcome to Hoffstadt Bluffs Visitor Center at Mount St. Helens - one of the largest post and beam structures on the West coast, after Timberline Lodge at Mount Hood. Our lodge-like facility offers a family friendly restaurant, expansive gift shop, meeting rooms, and event space all overlooking the gorgeous Toutle River Valley and Mount St. Helens. We are open all year, come up and enjoy all seasons of the Pacific Northwest with us!
Inside the center you will find the Memories of a Lost Landscape Exhibit which tells the story what life was like at Mount St. Helens before the blast. Outside, a paved walking path will take you through our memorial grove, planted in 2000 in memory of all 57 people who perished in the May 18, 1980 eruption.
